Banco Popular Anglicizes Name

Banco Popular is now Popular Community Bank.

The Puerto Rican bank is using a more English sounding name at its Southern California branches in hopes of increasing non-Latino customers.

Savings Bonds Are Going Digital

After December 31, 2011, banks and credit unions will no longer sell Savings Bonds.

The move is expected to save the government $70 million over 5 years.

Living Outside of NY and Owning a Vacation Home in NY Could Cost You

If you were to live in New Jersey or Connecticut and happen to own a vacation home on Long Island or an apartment, that you use part of the time, in Manhattan, you may have to begin paying taxes on your income to the state of New York.

A recent ruling could allow your out-of-state earnings to be taxed by New York state.

It all boils down to an issue of residency - part-time, full-time, no-time or low-time.

Been to Greece Lately? Athens Rioters Clash with Police Over Wage & Pension Cuts

Rioters run from police after standoff.

Rioters set fire to a bank building as hundreds of thousands protested in the streets of Athens to voice dissatisfaction over wage and pension cuts the government is making to save Greece from bankruptcy.

Basically a protest outside of parliament turned into an all out riot with rioters clashing with police.

With 50 Cent's new book, The 50th Law( I suggest you read it...seriously) hitting shelves Business Insider thought it would be a good idea to look at the various ways the homey stacked his paper and became the multi-million dollar entertainer/one man corporation that he is.

They make a point of illustrating his success was not happenstance, but, from hard work and good decisions, offering up failed child actor- turned security guard-turned infomercial pitch man, Gary Coleman.
