D. Black ft. Tiffany Wilson - "Touch The Stars" (Produced by Jake One)

That D. Black "Ali'Yah" album drops September 15th

D. Black ft. Tiffany Wilson - "Touch The Stars" mp3

"Touch The Stars" is the bonus track from the forthcoming Ali'Yah album from D. Black. The song was produced by Jake One(check out that White Van Music).

Tiffany Wilson sounds good with those harmonies on the track.

Listening to D. Black reminds me of first hearing Beanie Sigel or some of the better Detroit rappers - all I could think was he sounds like he's been making records for years.

Normally, you can hear the lack of experience with a new artist; sometimes it's poor enunciation, other times they rush ahead or fall behind the beat... D. Black does none of these.

When you factor in his good subject matter and authenticity it's easy to see why expect him to be an artist to put Seattle on the map in this new century.

He sounds too polished to be local and the production he has is a good fit for him. Once he creates some fans in some new regions he should be on automatic.

D. Black's going to have a few album release parties poppin' early next month. I'll keep you posted on the info.
